Enjoy autumn in Okuizumo Town and take a glimpse of the history and culture of good old Japan with the new 4 hour bus/taxi tour! Autumn is the best season to enjoy the open-air sightseeing train called “Okuizumo Orochi-go” on JR Kisuki Line. The bus/taxi service allows you easy access, after arriving by the open-air train, to the popular autumn tourist destinations within Okuizumo such places as the Okuizumo Tatara and Japanese Sword Museum, Orochi Loop Bridge, Maitake Mushroom farm, Oni-no-Shitaburui Gorge, and much more. Okuizumo was an area prominent with Tatara craftsmen who altered the landscape shaping the once mountainous land and it gave birth to the popular Nita-mai brand rice.
