Dance to popular local folk song Yasugibushi
Yasugibushi, one of the most popular folk songs in Japan, is still performed every day at the heart of its origin. You can enjoy live vivid performances of Yasugibushi, Zenidaiko (two decorated bamboo sticks for performance) and Dojou-sukui (comical and humorous folk dance associated with Yasugibushi). At the end of each show, 5 people from the audience can join in a Dojou-sukui dance workshop on the stage! All the clothes and props are provided to these 5 before the show. So come and join the merry traditional folk dance which will make you leave with jolly laughter and a happy smile on your face!
