Cycle to Matsue Castle, climbing up to the keep, then go to the area that used to be the main street of the castle town.
Stop and visit any local shops or sites as you like, enjoy the excursion of Matsue and cycling along Shinji-ko Lake.
At the end, enjoy the food experience of Matsue, with matcha tea and traditional wagashi confectionary in a quiet space.
The joy of cycling is “Cycle freely in town”, so despite the theme of the tour we put the taste and originality of the guest first.
From a tourist area to a minor back street, stop and visit anywhere as you like.
It is one group only private tour, not listed on any guide book.
We use electric assisted cycle, so ones with less physical strength can also apply with confidence.

START: Meet up at TRIP SPICE
Introduction/briefing, payment, confirmation of a request, adjusting the cycle, then depart!
CP1: Matsue Castle
In front of the castle Honmaru (main bailey ) while talking about the origin of Matsue Castle Town and the time when the castle was built.
(On request and after paying the additional admission fee we can take you up to the keep)
CP2: Shiomi Nawate
Ride and talk about the life style through the area once samurais lived.
CP3: Kyomise Shopping District
Have a break with Japanese desert while strolling the Matsue sightseeing area.
CP4: Shirakata Tenmangu Shrine
Visit a shrine already that existed when Matsue Castle was built, and has always been loved by locals.
CP5: Shinji-ko Lake
Go back to the modern time then, enjoy cycling along the Shinji-ko Lake.
GOAL: Matsue Shinjiko-Onsen Station
We stop at various other sites.

Regarding tour cancellation
Tour is canceled only in case of heavy rain, though we may contact you for cancellation by 19:00 of the day before if bad weather conditions are expected.
