Ebisu Shrine is located on Miyagajima Island along the Kohama coast in Masuda city. Connected to the shore by a white sandy beach, it is only accessible during low tides and surrounded by the water of the crashing waves during high tide. The phenomenon is similar to the tidal island Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France.
