Let's hit the beaches of "San'in blue"!

The long rainy season is finally over and alas here comes the best season for heading out to the beach!

Facing the Sea of Japan, Shimane has plenty of beautiful beaches for you to come and enjoy.

All the beaches listed here are well-facilitated and relatively safe for marine activities. As you drive along the Route 9, which runs along the coast line, you can find many beaches in addition to the major beaches listed below.

We usually enjoy the season during July and August.

Grab your swim suits and get ready for a beach day!

Just don’t forget the sunscreen!
